So far So GoodReview date: 2010-09-01 Rating: 8 out of 10The gate was easy to put in place, I can open it with just one hand (which is a mandatory requirement for me) considering you are always carrying your little one and the fact that it doesn't lock behind you is also a good thing (for me at least), I don't want to open the door each time I go up and down the stairs. i like the way it looks and so far has been a good buy.

I also have a couple of other gates and they all serve a purpose. I needed a second one of these to fit to the top of the stairs as it is the only one that will fit (brackets being in the correct place), although having a bar to trip over at the top of the stairs is not ideal! The only negative point is that the gate opening is a little narrow. It is awkward carrying a sleeping 18 month old through the gap. Another good point is that it has a three point unlocking system. My 18 month old worked out how to use another stair gate but has yet to work this one out!!Safety EssentialsReview date: 2010-08-20 Rating: 10 out of 10I purchased the safety gate for my grandson, as we have know that Lindam is a good, quality product that is easy to assemble( I have a 2yr old son. It arrived within 2 days, in good order, and is sturdy and hard wearing for the demands of a 1yr old.
